I am proud to say that we raised nearly £25,000 on Saturday night at the John Hartson Foundation ball at the Crowne Plaza.
It means that we are getting ever closer to out £1m target that we set up when we first established the charity in 2010.
To date, I think we are just around the £800k mark which is phenomenal.
It was a fabulous night and I am always proud and honoured how many people come out to help to support us.
It is one of these things that I am always wary of people putting the John Hartson of Celtic with the John Hartson of the foundation but we raise money for everyone and everyone is welcome regardless of what team they back.
We all know someone who has had a fight with cancer at some point in their lives and being able to offer support is invaluable.
If you have a look at www.johnhartsonfoundation.co.uk there should be a link to the various events that will come up over the next year or so.
There is always a way to get involved.
We have had groups of us head up Ben Nevis, we have our annual golf days, we have charity dinners and balls and the door is always open for people to come and lend a hand.
