Willie Collum is the referee for the Rangers v Celtic Betfred Cup Final at Hampden.
The 40-year-old hasn't refereed a game in Scotland since he made the headlines back in October after Borussia Monchengladbach's match against Roma.
Collum inexplicably pointed to the penalty spot in injury time at the Stadio Olimpico after Chris Smalling was clearly struck in the face by a shot.
He believed the ball hit the arm of the on-loan Manchester United man.
Lars Stindl stepped up to secure a 1-1 draw despite numerous disbelieving protests.
VAR could have cleared the incident up, however that technology is not used in the Europa League and officials get no help from replays in Scotland.
Collum has since apologised to Roma for the decision.
