Celtic's Vakoun Bayo is closing in on a move to Toulouse in Ligue 2.
The French outfit are hopeful of bolstering their attacking options after relegation last season when Ligue 1 concluded early. Reports in France now claim Bayo is on their radar and could depart Parkhead on loan sooner rather than later.
We told recently how Bayo was a wanted man in Paisley with St Mirren boss Jim Goodwin ready to make a move. However Neil Lennon confirmed there had been no offer for the Hoops striker. La Depeche du Midi in Toulouse are now reporting the Ivorian is a likely incoming to the club.
The same publication also claim it will be a transfer and not a loan move.
Bayo signed for Celts in 2018 but has struggled behind Odsonne Edouard, Leigh Griffiths and Patryk Klimala as fourth choice. And, as Celtic hope to sign either Ivan Toney or Albian Ajeti this summer, Bayo would drop further behind in the pecking order.
He has played eight times for the first-team, scoring twice.
