Ally McCoist has slaughtered 'diddy' Jamie O'Hara after the ex-Premier League player claimed Bournemouth is a bigger job than Rangers.
The former Wolves and Tottenham Hotspur midfielder suggested Gers boss Steven Gerrard should seriously consider a move to Dean Court should it present itself after the departure of long-term manager Eddie Howe.
But Gers hero Coisty was having none of it and hit back on talkSPORT, insisting O'Hara should be breathalysed for having such an outlandish opinion.
😳 “If ever there was a case for a talkSPORT broadcaster to be breathalysed for an opinion!”

😡 “I’m all for people having an opinion... unless it’s O’Hara on Rangers.”

"If ever there was a case for a talkSPORT broadcaster to be breathalysed and drug-tested in the same movement, for having an opinion as stupid as that, yesterday was that particular occasion," McCoist said.
"In all seriousness, I'm all for everybody having an opinion. Unless it's Jamie O'Hara talking about Rangers and Bournemouth. Have you ever heard anything as ridiculous in your life? The Billericay Town manager trying to work out who the biggest club is between Rangers and Bournemouth. Holy moly guacamole..
"I never heard it but as soon as he opened his mouth, my phone started bleeping. Saying, 'Who is this diddy?' I was going to go right above Jamie's head, certainly a public apology of some description should be made the following day."
O'Hara argued that the Cherries job would be in a more competitive league than the two-horse race in Scotland's Premiership. He said: "I wouldn’t want to disrespect the Rangers people because they are a huge football club. But it’s a bigger job to potentially be the Bournemouth manager. Rangers are a huge, huge football club but for me there’s only two clubs in Scotland.
"With Bournemouth, they’ve just dropped out of the Premier League, to get them back into the Premier League, they are a higher profile football team. I would take the Bournemouth job, it’s a bigger job."
