SOUTHAMPTON are no longer in the race to sign Celtic's Olivier Ntcham - but two other European heavyweights remain interested in the French midfielder.
The former Manchester City player has been the subject of intense transfer speculation this summer, with the Hoops preparing to cash in on the playmaker.
Sky Sports are reporting that the Saints, who have been keeping tabs on the 24-year-old, are now pulling out of the race for his signature - while Portuguese giants Porto and Champions League semi-finalists Lyon continue to monitor the situation.

Following his side's elimination from the Champions League at the hands of Ferencvaros, manager Neil Lennon claimed that some of his players did not want to stay at Parkhead - fuelling rumours that certain players would leave the club before the transfer window closes in October.
A number of first-team stars' futures have since been cast in doubt, including Ntcham, Kris Ajer and striker Odsonne Edouard.
