PSG defender Mitchel Bakker claims he has not heard anything of Celtic's interest in a loan deal - and he wants to remain in Paris regardless.
The Dutchman is on the Hoops' radar as they seek competition for Greg Taylor at left-back.
The Scottish champions even lodged a loan bid for the player, though it was rejected by the French outfit. It is believed they will return with a further offer, however Bakker himself has now spoken on the interest.
In an interview with NOS, Bakker said: "I haven’t heard from Celtic, but I want to stay with PSG, and my hope is to have even more playing time.
"When I look at the club, I see players like Neymar and Kylian Mbappe. And I play with them. Normally, at such a young age as mine, you don’t experience that, so I want to take advantage of it. I played in both national cup finals at the end of the season, and I think I did well. I learned a lot from Thiago Silva before he left for Chelsea."
