PARTICK THISTLE will announce the loan signing of Dundee United midfielder Declan Glass within the next 24 hours, Herald and Times Sport understands.
Manager Ian McCall has been public in his desire to add another midfielder to the Jags ranks before the 2020/21 campaign gets under way next month, and his wish is expected to be granted with the confirmation of Glass' arrival on Thursday evening.
The promising midfielder spent half of last season on loan at Cove Rangers where he made 16 league appearances, scoring six goals and setting up another seven.
The 20-year-old has been named as a substitute in each of United's Premiership fixtures so far this term, and came off the bench during his side's 2-1 win over St Mirren last weekend to see out the game.
The deal will see Glass spend the entirety of the upcoming season at Firhill.
