Preston boss Alex Neil is confident of keeping hold of both Daniel Johnson and Ben Davies amid interest from Rangers and Celtic in both players.
Gers had been hoping to land Johnson this week having already submitted an offer for the midfielder. The Hoops, meanwhile, have been tracking Davies as a transfer target as they seek to strengthen their defence after the departure of Boli Bolingoli.
Neil, though, claims interest in the pair has 'gone away' and he insists he is confident neither of his first-team stars will leave Deepdale this summer. Asked about interest, the boss responded: "All of that has gone away, thankfully.
"We are hoping it continues that way. If you said to me right now, 'how confident am I?' I am very confident that none of the lads will be away."
We told recently how Johnson was 'keen' on a switch to Ibrox as Steven Gerrard is determined to land another midfield player. The Rangers manager had hoped to seal the transfer as early as possible with Ryan Jack and Joe Aribo both out for a number of weeks, the latter more long-term.
Davies, meanwhile, was on Celtic's radar alongside Charlton ace Alfie Doughty.
