LEON BALOGUN reckons keeper Allan McGregor wants this title more than most as Rangers set their sights on the Premiership crown this term.
The 38-year-old produced a Man of the Match performance to inspire Steven Gerrard's side to Old Firm victory on Saturday.
A Callum McGregor own goal proved the difference at Ibrox and Balogun was delighted with the performance of the Light Blues keeper.
Balogun said: "He is a big character, you can tell that. He has a big voice and sometimes it feels like we have to slow him down a bit. But at the same time, personally, I think it’s something that helps the team.
“He is the one who wants to win the league the most with this team, because of the history. His contribution today was massive.
“He even tried to cheat a little bit by saying he didn’t touch the shot he put onto the post. But he was taking away some of the credit for himself because it was a great save.”
