Celtic have began discussions with Leicester City over a potential loan move for Filip Benkovic, according to reports.
The Croatian is not in Brendan Rodgers' plans this season and was recently at Cardiff City before his time was cut short.
With Christopher Jullien out for around four months, Neil Lennon is on the lookout for a new central defender and the experienced Benkovic would fit the bill.
Sky Sports claim talks have now begun with a loan being discussed which would have an option to buy should the deal suit both parties.
Benkovic spent the 2018/19 season on loan at Celtic Park and became somewhat of a fan's favourite at the back.
