Rangers hero Ally McCoist has pinpointed James Tavernier as Scottish Premiership player of the season.
The full-back has retured 17 goals and 15 assists in all competitions this campaign and he has captained the Light Blues to league glory.
McCoist was torn between a number of Rangers stars for his player of the campaign, but he admitted Tavenier just edged it.
He told Sky Sports: "I think it is a tough call. I really really do. You could make a case for Goldson who has played every game.
"You could make a case for Allan McGregor the goalkeeper, which might be a little bit bizarre. But McGregor has been brilliant.
"As has Davis. But I think I would have to give it to Tavernier I really would.
"I think he has had a wonderful season. I feel sorry for him at this moment in time because he is clearly unable to play.
"I just think his performances in terms of goals, his assists has been remarkable. I think Tavernier should win it, for me."
Andy Walker added: "I think I would go for Steve Davis but there are a number of options in that Rangers squad."
