The SPFL have announced that the Scottish football season will get underway from July 31 next term.
League bosses have also announced that the winter break will return to the Scottish Premiership.
The League Cup will kick-off the 2021/22 season with the group stage of the competition getting underway from the weekend of July 10/11.
The top-flight winter shutdown will run from Monday January 3 through until Friday January 21.
Dates for next season’s Challenge Cup competition will be confirmed in due course and fixtures for the 2021/22 league season will be published in June.
