Patryk Klimala's move to New York Red Bulls is a done deal after the striker jetted out to complete the switch.
The Polish hitman signed for Celtic from Jagiellonia Bialystok back in January last year for around £3.5million but failed to nail down a starting spot.
He managed just three goals in 28 appearances and was granted permission to speak with Red Bulls bosses over a transfer.
Herald and Times Sport understands Celtic will recoup their spending fee for the player despite the lack of game time he managed at Parkhead. It is believed the fee received will come to around €4million with add-ons.
The move is yet to be officially announced by either club but it is expected to be confirmed once he completes his medical.
Klimala joins former Hoops kid Cameron Harper who joined the MLS outfit back in March.
