STEVEN GERRARD insists he will be 'last in the queue' when the Premiership medals are handed out at Ibrox.

Rangers moved to within two fixtures of an unbeaten league campaign with a 4-1 win over Celtic on Sunday.

The champions now face Livingston and Aberdeen aiming to break the 100 points barrier before captain James Tavernier lifts the silverware later this month.

The title party will be a moment to savour as supporters celebrate a historic 55th league flag after a decade-long wait at Ibrox.

And Gerrard is determined to finish a remarkable season on a high note before his players finally get their medals to mark their achievements this term.

Gerrard said: "I’ll be last in the queue. All the players deserve it before me. 

"It’s a day we’re really looking forward to, but first things first we have to get through a tough game at Livi away.  

"Then it will be time to celebrate and enjoy the last game against a rival.

"In Aberdeen’s situation, it will be interesting to see what they need when they come here.

"Again, I’ll be looking for a real, strong home performance."
