Scotland fans will be unable to celebrate together at the delayed European Championships this summer.
As first reported in The Sun, a new rule will be introduced by UEFA at Euro 2020 that means members of the Tartan Army who are in the stadiums will need to have a four seat gap beside the person they are nearest.
The rule will also apply to members of the same household.
Those in charge of Scotland supporters clubs were told at a conference last week that Hampden Park will have a 25 per cent capacity for the two group games.
This will allow 3,600 Scots to be in attendance for the matches against the Czech Republic and Croatia.
The Association of Tartan Army Clubs said in a statement: “We asked if bubble/same household seating would likely offer the opportunity of a small increase in our allocation.

“However it appears a directive from UEFA states that ALL seats will be socially distanced, and have 3 or 4 between them, irrespective of who you order with."
The rules and regulations will also be in place for the countries trip to Wembley on matchday two.
The meeting was attended by ATAC Chair Martin Riddell and Vice Chair Graeme Baxter.
In the update, they went onto layout the plans for fans travelling down to London.
They continued: "No drinking alcohol is permitted on the underground.
“Dry trains may be implemented in the day running up to the match, although a decision has not yet been made.

"Alcohol is currently not allowed on trains due to Covid restrictions."
Fans will also be unable to gather freely at the traditional Trafalgar Square meeting point.
This is because the fan-zone event will be ticketed and is also subject to coronavirus guidelines.
