St Johnstone have responded to their Covid crisis by signing Hearts goalkeeper Zdenek Zlamal on a week's emergency loan.
It comes after two McDiarmid Park players tested positive for coronavirus on Thursday and two others have had to self-isolate after being ruled as close contacts.
It has left Saints boss Callum Davidson without four players ahead of this weekend’s Scottish Cup semi-final against St Mirren.
It is the second time Zlamal has went on loan to provide cover for a club suffering from Covid call-offs.
The Czech goalie was an emergency signing by St Mirren last year when they had a squad decimated by the virus, leaving Jim Goodwin with no first-team goalkeepers to choose from.
Zander Clark and Elliot Parish are the two senior keepers on the books at McDiarmid Park and it is currently unknown whether either of the pair are unavailable for the Hampden clash.
