Celtic are considering the launch of a fan membership scheme.
The Glasgow giants have been considering "for a while" the notion of setting up a new way for fans around the world to feel part of the club by offering ticket incentives, merchandise discounts and other bonuses.
According to supporter liaison officer John Paul Taylor the Hoops have been looking at a way to incorporate ideas for some time and could move to replicate the idea that the likes of Bayern Munich already do in Germany.
It's been discussed for a while and yes, I think it's something that fans around the world would like to see being introduced to let them be part of the Club, hopefully get something up and running soon

After a fan shared details of the European heavyweights membership scheme, Taylor responded: "It's been discussed for a while and yes, I think it's something that fans around the world would like to see being introduced to let them be part of the Club, hopefully get something up and running soon".
Any launch could coincide with Celtic's new manager, almost certainly Ange Postecoglou, joining from Yokohama F. Marinos this summer.
And it could potentially be a lucrative decision for the club.
