Rangers skipper James Tavernier has earned further recognition following a stunning season after being named in the EA Sports FIFA 21 team of the season for the rest of the world.
The defender is the second-highest rated player - at 90 - in the Ultimate Team line-up, which is drawn from countries outside the major leagues in the world.
The side also includes former Celtic defender Erik Sviatchenko, who now plays for FC Midtjylland, ex-St Johnstone keeper Alan Mannus, who joined Shamrock Rovers in 2018, and one-time Hibs loan striker Jamie Maclaren, who recently became Melbourne City’s record goal-scorer.
Tavernier is the first Rangers captain in a decade to lift the Premiership trophy and his performances landed him the PFA Scotland player of the year accolade.
And, with an incredible 95 pace rating, 87 shooting, 90 passing and dribbling, 87 defence and 94 physical, the 29-year-old has now also been honoured in the virtual world.
