Kevin Thomson has secured the signing of ex-Rangers kid Jamie Barjonas for Kelty Hearts.
The former Ibrox starlet departed the club this summer after loan spells at Raith, Partick Thistle and Ayr United. He has also played nine times for the Gers first-team.
Thomson, who worked with the 22-year-old with the Light Blues' B-team, has moved quickly as new Kelty boss to snap up the midfielder.
The new SPFL club posted confirmation of the signing on social media. They said: "We are pleased to announce our third signing of the season, Jamie Barjonas from Rangers.
"Jamie joins the club on a one year deal after spending time at Ayr at the end of last season on loan. The 22-year-old who plays midfield also had time at EFL club Bury, Raith Rovers and Partick Thistle on loan. Jamie is a product of the Rangers youth academy having been with the club since he was nine years old.
"Welcome to New Central Park Jamie!"
Barjonas joins ex-Hibs defender Jordon Forster and Joe Cardle as new boys at the club.
