Reports this morning have suggested that Ange Postecoglou could turn to goalkeeper Mat Ryan as his first signing for Celtic.
The Aussie shotstopper is currently with Brighton, but has fallen out of favour in recent times and it is understood he is looking for a move.
The Scottish Sun say new Parkhead manager Postecoglou, who worked with Ryan during his stint as Australia boss, is eager to bring the 29-year-old to Glasgow.
Ryan spent last season on loan at Arsenal but made just three appearances. Despite the lack of game time reports have suggested that the Gunners are interested in bringing him back to the Emirates.
Celtic are on the hunt for a number one goalkeeper after Vasilis Barkas and Scott Bain suffered inconsistent campaigns last term.
Ryan could fill that void as he looks to gain first team football ahead of the World Cup next year.
