John Kennedy is reportedly considering his future ahead of Celtic's new boss Ange Postecoglou joining the club.
The coach has been interim-manager since Neil Lennon resigned and has been at the club for a number of years in a handful of different roles including assistant boss.
With Australian head coach Postecoglou heading to Glasgow after a period of quarantine, it is likely he will want to bring in his own backroom staff.
And it is not a guarantee that Kennedy or the likes of Gavin Strachan or Stephen McManus will be in his mind.
The Daily Mail report that Kennedy - who harbours ambitions as a full-time manager in his own right - could look closer at his options as he ponders what's next.
Right now it looks like he will oversee Celtic's pre-season plans before their new boss comes in but, after that, things remain uncertain.
