Celtic face Premier League competition from Burnley for Thomas Robert.
The Airdrie attacker, son of legendary former Newcastle star Laurent, has been on fire since joining the League One side from Montpellier in a signing coup last year.
So much so that the Hoops have been keeping their eye on him as well as Hearts, Hibs and a host of other top clubs, including sides down south.
Now Herald and Times Sport understands he will head to Turf Moor on trial as Sean Dyche and his coaching staff want to run the rule over him before making a move.
He will head down south and be in training from later today.
Celtic recently had the French youngster at Lennoxtown training but did not make an official move at that time.
But with interest ramping up and a new head coach in place in Ange Postecoglou, he could return to their shortlist.
