CAMMY Smith has returned to Scotland penning a two-year deal with Partick Thistle after a spell in the United States.
The attacking midfielder is back in Scottish football after a stint with Indy Eleven in Indiana.
Smith, 25, has a wealth of Championship experience playing for Ayr as well as lifting the league title with St Mirren in 2017.
The playmaker has been handed the number 11 shirt, and will now work under Ian McCall who had tried to sign Smith previously.
Ian McCall told the club website: "I’m really pleased to add Cammy to the squad. He’s a good age with plenty of experience for a 25 year old and will bring a lot of quality to our team.
"I’ve said we need that extra bit of creativity and Cammy certainly has that. He’s a good age with plenty of experience for a 25 year old and will bring a lot of quality to our team.
“He’s someone who can thrive in a few different roles as well whether that’s out wide, as an advanced midfielder or up closer to the striker – he gives options with the way we want to attack teams.
"I’ve tried to sign Cammy before and I’m thrilled he has chosen to come to Firhill as I know there were a number of clubs interested in his services.”
