GLASGOW will be at home to Newcastle Falcons in their first pre-season friendly, on Friday 3 September.
The Warriors have already announced that they will be away to Worcester the following Friday. Both fixtures will kick off at 7pm.
“I’m pleased we’ve secured pre-season games against two quality English Premiership sides,” Glasgow coach Danny Wilson said.
“These games will provide us with a standard of competition that will help us to be game-ready for the URC getting under way later in September.”
Fans are expected to be able to return to Scotstoun for the Newcastle match, which could provide a Warriors debut for new signings such as Jack Dempsey and Sione Tuipulotu.
It may also be a second debut for Duncan Weir, who is back with his home-town team after a five-year absence. Ticket details will be announced shortly.
