JIM DUFFY has officially been appointed as Ayr United’s new manager.
The highly-experienced former Dundee, Morton and Dumbarton gaffer has signed an initial deal until the end of the season.
The 62-year-old has steadied the ship since David Hopkin’s early season departure.
He has clocked two wins on the board, and is unbeaten in three Championship games.
Dave Timmins remains as Assistant Manager and John Joyce as Coach alongside Derek Stillie.
