Glasgow City were 3-0 up in just 17 minutes against Aberdeen in a game switched to Brechin's Glebe Park. It was 5-0 at half time with Vital Kats getting two of the goals but there was no further scoring in the second half.
Celtic were also quick off the mark at Oriam, although it took them 28 minutes to make it 3-0 against bottom club Hearts. That was also the full time score, leaving Celtic in third place on goal difference behind City.
Hibs were pushed hard by Hamilton Accies at New Douglas Park, with Amy Gallacher's goal just before the half hour the difference between the sides. In the night's other game Spartans and Partick Thistle drew 0-0 at Ainslie Park.
