GIOVANNI van Bronckhorst leads the bookies odds to replace Steven Gerrard as the next Rangers manager.
The Dutchman, 46, has been made odds-on favourite to become the next permanent boss at Ibrox as club chiefs step up the search for their next man.
Gerrard today finalised his move as Aston Villa confirmed him as their new manager on a three-and-a-half year deal.
Various candidates are now being linked with the vacant post in the Ibrox dugout, but van Bronckhorst is a clear favourite with punters putting their cash on the former Feyenoord boss heading back to Glasgow.
Sky Bet price van Bronckhorst at 4/7 to return to Rangers as manager with the next candidate, Derek McInnes, way back at 4/1.
John Terry is priced at 8/1 to takeover at Rangers. Russell Martin remains in the odds list at 10/1 despite Herald and Times Sport confirming he is not in the running last night.
At 14/1 is shock candidate Diego Martinez who has worked in various positions at Sevilla and managed Granada for three years.
Alex Neil is at 16/1 with St Johnstone manager Callum Davidson also among the names linked with Ibrox at 18/1.
Dean Smith, Gary McAllister, Duncan Ferguson and Gennaro Gattuso are all outsiders at 20/1.
