RANGERS star Fashion Sakala continued his electric form for his country with a hat-trick against Mauritania.

The Ibrox striker took home the matchball as Zambia ran out comfortable 4-0 winners in the World Cup qualifier match today.

Sakala was instrumental for his nation as he made sure of the result after Patson Daka's first-half opener.

The Rangers man's first came just eight minutes from the break as he slotted home from close range.

He then bagged his second in stoppage time at the end of the first-half as he slammed home from the penalty spot. Sakala celebrated the spot-kick conversion by charging to the corner flag and imitating Cristiano Ronaldo's trademark celebration by leaping into the air before landing with his arms outstretched.

His third, which came just after the hour, ended the scoring in the simple victory for Zambia.

The victory leaves Zambia second in their World Cup qualifying group on seven points from five matches.

They sit three points behind Tunisia who top the group on ten points having played one match less.
