RYAN KENT has addressed his Rangers future amid growing transfer speculation.
The exciting attacker insists he is fully focussed on life under Giovanni van Bronkhorst at Ibrox.
He has been heavily tipped for a move to Aston Villa come January, after Steven Gerrard made the move to the Premier League side.
However, Kent has reassured fans he is fully committed to doing his best for Rangers in the short-term.
Speaking to Sky Sports in their build-up to tonight's game at Easter Road, he said: "The immediate future is me playing for Rangers.
"I have given my best and I want to be more successful at the football club. I feel as if I have a lot to show, and a lot to win as well. My concentration is here."
Kent did open up on the close relationship he had with Gerrard though.
He added: "I think for Steven and the other coaches this was like a family in a way.
"He took over a team that was not doing so great, and brought success back to the club.
"We all bought into his philosophies and everything that he brought to the club, so it was sad to see him go.
"He wishes us all very well, and I think we all still have a great relationship with him wherever he is.
"I have the upmost respect for Steven and Michael Beale who i've know for a very long time.
"They brought me to this football club and I'm very grateful for that. I've learned so much from him.
"There is a new manager in charge now and we all need to work with him and give him our best, and all learn from our best.
"To make 55 happen was special. We thought this was the dream, this will carry on as long as we are all here, but these things happen in football and I wish him all the best for the future."
