THE eagerly anticipated Europa League showdown between Borussia Dortmund and Rangers is almost upon us.
The pair are set to face off in the play-off round of the competition in a double legged affair over the next two weeks.
Dortmund and Rangers will clash in European competition for the first time since the 1999/2000 Uefa Cup when the German giants progressed on penalties in the last 32 stage.

Team news for Dortmund vs Rangers
The big team news ahead of this one is that star striker Erling Haaland.
German outlet Ruhr Nachrichten BVB say the Norwegian superstar's return from injury has been postponed and he looks set to miss Thursday's match.
Haaland missed yesterday's Bundesliga clash between Dortmund and Union Berlin with a muscle strain.
Despite his absence, Dortmund still won 3-0 as they continue their chase of Bayern Munich at the top of the Bundesliga table.
