CELTIC winger Karamoko Dembele made his long-awaited return yesterday.
The teenager had been out of action for over seven months after sustaining an ankle injury in a pre-season friendly against Bristol City back in July.
The talented young forward played 90 minutes in the Celtic B side's 4-0 victory over Vale of Leithan in The Scottish Lowland League.
Dembele was on the verge of breaking into the Hoops first team before the injury and fans will now be hoping that with this recent outing, he will not be too far away from first team action.
Manager Ange Postecoglou had previously spoken about the current injury status of the youngester to The Herald.
He said: "He’s been training well. He’s been out for quite a long time.
"He is getting close to being available."
