RANGERS hero Ally McCoist insists he is travelling to Seville for the Europa League final to work - and not for a jolly.
The Scottish football icon will today make his way out to the south of Spain ahead of the showpiece spectacle tomorrow evening.
The former Gers star will be covering the game for talkSPORT.
However, when speaking about his travels on this morning's Breakfast Show, host Laura Woods questioned how much work he'd actually get done on the trip - with tens of thousands of Gers fans descending upon Seville for a party.
But McCoist knocked back any jokes at claims he was off to the city for a holiday.
He said: "I'm off to represent talkSPORT in Seville, of course I am.
“I'm doing the show from there tomorrow. You thought I was out there for a jolly.
“Crooky (football correspondent) is going to give me equipment which I can do the show with, so nothing can go wrong there.
“He is passing on the relevant equipment for me to do the show."
