GREENOCK MORTON have provided updated squad news following their previous end-of-season update.
With six players leaving, and new faces joining the club, there will be major changes at Cappielow.
Several contract discussions following the end of the season have broken down, with Gary Oliver, Gozie Ugwu, Brian McLean, and Iain Wilson joining the already departing Mark Russell and Michael Ledger.
Jack Baird, Carlo Pignatiello, and Darragh O’Connor all have pre-contract agreements to join the club, and Robbie Muirhead and Cameron Blues have agreed to extend their stays.
Much to the dismay of Morton fans, crucial players Jack Hamilton and Lewis Strapp are yet to make their decisions, with the club desperate to tie them down and many other clubs interested.
With some decent performers and fan-favourites leaving, Morton announced the update with a statement saying: “We would like to thank every player for their time and efforts whilst playing in a Morton jersey and wish all departing players the very best for the future.”
