RANGERS and Hibs are among a number of clubs tracking West Ham defender Emmanuel Longelo, according to reports.
The 21-year-old full-back has struggled to find game time since a Europa League debut last year for the Hammers, and it is now understood that he is keen on a move to gain some much-needed game time.
The Sun say clubs across the first and second tiers in England also keeping a close eye, so both Rangers and Hibs have plenty of competition to fight off for his signature.
The report goes on to state that Rangers will await a decision on the future of Calvin Bassey before firming up their interest in Longelo.
West Ham have been open to selling the defender since the last transfer window, but no deal was completed.
Premier League starts may be out of the defender's reach at this stage in his career as the London club are on the hunt for a backup to Aaron Cresswell who can challenge him for minutes.
Meanwhile, Hearts will join Rangers and Celtic in submitting a B team to next season’s Lowland League after a vote to include three guest clubs was approved at the second attempt.
The two Glasgow clubs had youth teams in the division last term, finishing second and third behind champions Bonnyrigg Rose, who subsequently won promotion to SPFL League Two.
Lowland League clubs initially voted against the inclusion of a third guest club for the 2022/23 campaign in the shape of Hearts, but the three clubs returned with an improved financial proposition and an ultimatum that all three clubs should be admitted or none at all.
The positive vote was eventually passed on Monday evening, so there will be a 19-team league for one season only with a 36-game fixture calendar.
