PORTUGUESE winger Jota has sealed a permanent transfer to Celtic after impressing on loan at Parkhead last season.
The 23-year-old caught the eye during Ange Postecoglou's debut campaign in charge of the Glasgow club, playing an important role as the team regained their Premiership crown.
Jota also lifted the Premier Sports Cup, and contributed 13 goals and 14 assists in 40 appearances in all competitions.
That form convinced Postecoglou to make a permanent move for the forward, who has now signed an five-year deal in Glasgow's east end.
As part of the loan arrangement with Benfica, Celtic inclued a £6.5million future fee in the deal and it has now been exercised.

Welcome home, Jota! 🇵🇹🍀
Jota is Postecoglou's fourth summer acquisition after Tottenham Hostpur defender Cameron Carter-Vickers - who also spent last season on loan at Parkhead - signed a four-year deal with the club, while Benjamin Siegrist and Alexandro Bernabei have completed moves of their own.
Jota told Celtic TV: “I’m feeling great. It’s a tremendous step in my career.
"I’m really happy to have joined Celtic and I just want to give some joy to the fans, to our team and conquer as many things as we can.
“It was a great experience last season. I already knew, more or less, how big Celtic was but I think people only realise once you are inside the club and inside the structure.
“With the season that we had with all the winning and all the trophies, I think it was very good for everyone, and I just got to know the club in another perspective, and I just fell in love. So I think it’s a good time to be here and I just want to develop.”
