SCOTT BROWN could offer Mikey Devlin the chance to reignite his football career at Fleetwood Town.
The League One outfit are reportedly offering the defender an opportunity to win a deal.
The one-time Scotland international has endured a torrid time with injury through his career, but especially in the last two years at Aberdeen.
Now, the Daily Record say that the 28-year-old will begin pre-season with the Football League outfit this week.
Brown knows Devlin from their time at Aberdeen last season.
Devlin last made a first team appearance for the Dons in 2020, with a series of setbacks hampering his recovery progress.
The ex-Hamilton ace terminated his contract at Pittodrie at the end of last season.
This report states that he is keen to try his luck in England and is hopeful a fresh move will see him enjoy better luck.
