RANGERS are set to clinch a loan move for Bayern Munich midfielder Malik Tillman.
The 20-year-old has emerged as a key target for boss Giovanni van Bronckhorst as he seeks to bolster his options ahead of the new campaign.
And Herald and Times Sport understands Rangers are close to finalising a move to bring the highly-rated Bundesliga kid to Glasgow.
Rangers have added Antonio Colak, Tom Lawrence and Rabbi Matondo to their ranks already this summer.
And Tillman is now poised to become the fourth arrival and complete a season long loan move to Ibrox.
Tillman was born in Germany but has chosen to represent the USA at international level and made his debut against Morocco earlier this year.
The move for the playmaker is another major boost to Van Bronckhorst as Rangers count down to their Premiership opener with Livingston in a fortnight and Champions League qualifier next month.
