SCOTLAND star Billy Gilmour has broken his silence after being dropped from Chelsea's first team pre-season tour.
The midfielder was cut from Thomas Tuchel's squad, along with three others, as they continue their pre-season preparations in the US.
The 21-year-old is now training with the Stamford Bridge side's development squad in Salt Lake City.
It remains to be seen how his immediate future looks following the decision by the Blues manager.
Gilmour endured a difficult time on loan with Norwich last season, as they were relegated from the Premier League.
The ex-Rangers starlet was made a whipping boy by some of the locals.
Everton are said to be interested in a move, which would see Gilmour reunite with Frank Lampard, who of course gave the player his debut at Chelsea.
Since being cut from the first team training camp, Gilmour played against MLS Next Pro side Real Monarchs with the reserve squad, as he captained them.
Taking to Instagram, Gilmour posted some images of him playing in the game.
He had this to say alongside the snaps: "Minutes in the tank."
