RANGERS are sweating over the fitness of midfielder Tom Lawrence ahead of their Champions League showdown with PSV Eindhoven next week.
The Welshman followed up his goal from the first leg of the play-off clash at Ibrox by adding another to his tally during the draw with Hibernian.
But boss Giovanni van Bronckhorst faces an anxious wait to discover if Lawrence will be fit for the second fixture at the Philips Stadion on Wednesday night.
Lawrence was replaced just minutes after he rounded off a superb Rangers move and headed home a Borna Barisic cross to restore the visitors' advantage.
That strike ultimately wouldn't prove enough to earn all three points at Easter Road and attentions will now turn to the all-or-nothing showdown with Ruud van Nistelrooy's side as Rangers attempt to clinch their place in the group stages this term.
Van Bronckhorst said: "It was a good move, a good attack. Great cross, great goal.
"He was caught in a bad tackle and twisted his ankle a little bit so we took him off. We have to see if he is fit for Wednesday."
