Rangers fans have been warned they could be subjected to preventative searches in Amsterdam, while not bringing photo ID could see them forfeit tickets.
Thousands of fans have travelled over to the Netherlands for the first match of their side's Champions League campaign, which sees them take on Ajax at the Johan Cruijff Arena.
Both local authorities and the club have issued guidance for travelling Rangers fans, some of which could see tickets confiscated.
Dutch authorities have told both sets of fans that no alcohol will be sold in the Red Light District until midnight after the match.
In addition any supporters wearing a face covering could be given an 18-month ban, while preventative searches will be in place around the stadium before and after the match.
Rangers have also issued a warning to their own fans about collecting tickets before the match.
They said in a statement: "Rangers supporters must only collect their own ticket and photo ID will be required for all ticket collections. Please note that this rule is being strictly adhered to and any supporter who does not collect their tickets will forfeit MyGers points and will not receive any refund."
They've also advised fans without tickets to avoid Monico, Hof van Holland and surrounding bars at Rembrandtplein due to the presence of Ajax fans, and asked supporters not to place flags or banners on local statues or historic monuments.
Public drinking is banned in Amsterdam, and there will also be a strict no tolerance policy on pyrotechnics.
