IT was far from an easy shift for Kris Boyd this evening as the Rangers hero provided match updates from the club's Champions League drubbing against Ajax.
The former Ibrox and Scotland striker was in the Sky Sports News studio for the group opener and it did not go to plan for Giovanni van Bronckhorst's side from the off.
Rangers found themselves 3-0 down at half-time as Edson Alvarez, Steven Berghuis and Mohammed Kudus all found the back of the net.
Reacting on Sky Sports, Boyd said: "It is three now! Honestly this is unbelievable.
GOAL! Ajax 3-0 Rangers ⚽

It's far too easy for Ajax. They score TWO goals in quick succession. Is that game over already in Amsterdam? pic.twitter.com/VCyK42spqU
"The second goal was a deflection, they were a wee bit lucky in the middle of the park. It broke to Berghuis and he ended up getting a shot away.
"Sands stuck out a foot and it ended up past Jon McLaughlin. Ajax deserved to be two or three up to be fair.
"Then a moment of class. Kudus turns James Tavernier and gets into the box and rifles an unbelievable shot straight across McLaughlin.
"It is relentless from Ajax. We spoke about how it will be a step up for Rangers. This is more than a step up.
"They are getting absolutely battered. I would say the only thing I am enjoying at this moment in time is my pizza!
"It is going to be a long night!"
