CELTIC striker Giorgos Giakoumakis could be ready for an international return to play Northern Ireland tomorrow evening.
The Hoops forward has been out of action with a dead leg after sustaining the injury while with the Greek national team.
It was reported that the striker was experiencing discomfort during training and so was sent for a scan.
It appeared to be a blow for the player, and potentially Celtic, as he was left out of training as a result.
He had been deemed a major doubt for Greece's Nations League game against Northern Ireland on Tuesday night.
However, boss Gus Poyet has provided an update on Giakoumakis' fitness status, as he refused to rule him out.
He told the media: "50-50 for Celtic Giorgos Giakoumakis and Trabzonspor Tasos Bakasetas to play tomorrow v Northern Ireland."
