CELTIC and Rangers' favourite domestic opponents have been revealed.
Grosvenor Sport has broken down the biggest wins achieved by both Celtic and Rangers throughout the last seven years to see which club struggles against Scotland’s dominant duo the most.
The data has revealed that St Johnstone struggle against Celtic most, with The Bhoys collecting 16 wins from 20 games, losing just once and drawing three times.
The Saints have also been on the wrong end of three of Celtic’s last five most significant successes.
The Perth-based outfit have shipped 59 goals against the 2022/23 league leaders over the previous five seasons and kept a clean sheet in just two of the 20 games played.
Elsewhere, Rangers have found things equally as positive against Motherwell.
Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s squad have been handed two of their biggest wins of the season when facing the side currently sat fifth in the Scottish Premiership.
The Gers’ biggest victories over the last five years have come against Motherwell in two of the previous four seasons, having won 7-1 in 2018/19 and 6-1 in 2021/22.
Rangers have also found regular glory against now-Championship side Hamilton Academical, recording 4-0 and 8-0 wins against them in 2016/17 and 2020/21 - their biggest of those campaigns.
Celtic have established themselves as the early pace setters this season and are 3/10 with Grosvenor Sport to land their second consecutive Premiership title, whilst Rangers are 5/2 to win their first league crown in the Van Bronckhorst era.
