SCOTTISH football pundit Andy Walker has questioned Giovanni van Bronckhorst's claim that he didn't hold a debrief with his Rangers players after their 7-1 thumping at the hands of Liverpool.
It was an embarrassing night for the Light Blues at Ibrox as the Premier League side ran riot in Glasgow.
van Bronckhorst fronted up to the media in what was a hugely challenging right for Rangers.
He said that there were no harsh truths told in the dressing room afterwards.
And Walker finds it hard to believe that would have been the case.
Appearing on Go Radio with ex-Ibrox man Craig Moore, the pair discussed the game.
Moore had a differing view. He started: "Every manager has their own way. I have been involved where maybe a bad result, sometimes silence is the right way, You can become an emotional, and all of a sudden what is already is a bad night can blowout and become a lot worse."
But Walker wasn't having it. He replied: "I would be amazed if all the players were silent. There would be a real bit of shouting and balling at each other, one of two of them, no?"
Moore responded: "It depends, after such a result, players "are embarrassed, and I can tell you now, when players are embarrassed, emotions are not high in terms of wanting to argue and debate and challenge one another. It's more about feeling a little bit ashamed.
"I think you would have seen heads in hands and a really dejected dressing room that would have been in deep in thought and disappointed with themselves."
Walker concluded: "Just in terms of terms of letting off steam? You might have been unreasonable but I would imagine there would have been raised voices."
