Podcast star Si Ferry has revealed he got "chucked out" of a Glasgow chippy run by the parents of former footballer James McFadden.
Glasgow-born McFadden, 39, appeared as a guest on the Open Goal podcast yesterday alongside Ferry and Derek Ferguson.
He told how his family ran Da Vinci's chip shop on Queen Street.
Ferry spoke of how he would go to the popular eatery, which closed during lockdown, after a night out at Karbon nightclub.
He said: "I got chucked out of that chippy every Saturday night."
McFadden, who grew up in the city's Springburn, joked: "My maw would have thrown you out."
He then added: "If you have been out in Glesga on a Saturday you have probably been in it."
McFadden revealed that he "knew all the stories" when Ferry asked if his parents had said they had to 'chuck this or that footballer out'.
The host urged the ex-striker, who remained tight-lipped, to reveal "who the biggest name was that they chucked out".
