Cameron Carter-Vickers' World Cup dream will continue into the knockout stages.
The Celtic defender helped USA qualify for the last-16 of the competition tonight.
The Amercians defeated Iran 1-0 at the Al Thumama Stadium in Qatar.
The 24-year-old started the match at the back, partnering Tim Ream at the heart of Gregg Berhalter's defence.
Christian Pulisic netted the only goal of the game on the 38th-minute.
USA go through as the second-placed side from Group B, with England prevailing as winners.
The English beat Wales 3-0 in the Middle East in what was a comfortable evening for Gareth Southgate's men.
England qualified for the next round on seven-points, while USA finished in second spot on five-points.
Celtic fans will get to see more of Carter-Vickers as the tournament progresses from the group stages, though, which is pleasing news for all connected to the club.
USA will play The Netherlands in their last-16 fixture.
