Alfredo Morelos doesn't not require any added motivation ahead of Rangers cup semi-final against Aberdeen this weekend.
Michael Beale was asked to address Anthony Stewart's claims that Antonio Colak is the better of the two main Ibrox strikers.
The Dons skipper revealed that he would rather come up against Morelos rather than the Croatian frontman.
Colak is touch and go for the League Cup clash on Sunday.
And Beale resisted going into too much detail on his true thoughts of the matter.
Having not read or heard the comment prior to being asked, he responded: “That’s an interesting opinion. It’s a personal opinion. I don’t know if Alfredo needs any more motivation than playing in a final.
"To get to a final by playing in semi-final, I think that’s Alfredo’s motivation at the moment. I didn’t see that comment.
"I’d hate to comment on it without seeing it actually come from his mouth so I’ll maybe comment on that another time.”

Meanwhile, Michael Beale is confident he will land his first January deals in the coming days as he teased the prospect of Todd Cantwell arriving at Ibrox.
Norwich City boss David Wagner has confirmed that Cantwell is not part of his plans this term and will be allowed to leave Carrow Road during the current transfer window.
Beale refused to rule out a switch for the midfielder in the aftermath of the Premiership victory over Dundee United last weekend.
There will be no new faces paraded before Rangers face Aberdeen in the semi-finals of the Viaplay Cup at Hampden on Sunday.
Beale said: "It has progressed well in terms of where it is at. As soon as there is news we will let everyone know. We are eager to let everyone know.
"It will take a little bit of time. My bit is done, if that makes sense, and now it is over to other people to finalise things.
"He (Cantwell) is a player with a lot of ability and there will be a lot of interest in him. He is a player I like a lot, as I said last week.
"Out of respect, I can’t really say much more than that. I think you are not far off the track with what you are all insinuating."
