Celtic manager Ange Postecoglou revealed the future of Giorgos Giakoumakis was no longer “on his radar” and claimed Instagram users would find out about the Greece striker’s exit before he does.
Giakoumakis remained at Celtic at the end of the transfer window but different deadlines in Japan and the United States mean he can still wrap up a move to suitors such as Uwara Red Diamonds and Atlanta United.
“It will get concluded fairly soon,” Postecoglou said at his pre-match press conference ahead of the match against St Johnstone.
“To be honest, it’s not on my radar any more. I will probably hear it about the same time as you guys. Maybe, if you are on Instagram, you will hear about it earlier than me.
“It’s not on my radar, I don’t expect him back in the group, but it hasn’t been finalised yet.”

Celtic right-back Alistair Johnston has praised fellow team-mate Reo Hatate, claiming that the midfielder can sometimes "go under the radar".
Since joining from MLS side CF Montreal, the 24-year-old has played seven times for the Scottish champions and he has recognised the talent of the Japan international
The defender was asked who was the most skilful player at the club. While acknowledging that winger Jota was talented, he was keen to highlight Hatate as someone who possesses a lot of technical ability.
Speaking to the club's official Youtube channel, he said: "I think there’s one that definitely stands out.
“It’s hard to go against the Portuguese sensation Jota.
“Just so technical, so clean with everything he does.
"But also a little shoutout to Reo [Hatate], I think he goes a little under the radar with how technical he is.
“His first touch is just so clean with everything he does so I think these two are most technical.”
