Kyogo Furuhashi has suffered an injury forcing him off against St Mirren in the Scottish Cup.
The Japanese frontman was replaced by Liel Abada on 14 minutes after appearing to pick up a knock to his arm.
Losing Kyogo would be a major issue for Ange Postecoglou with the 28-year-old currently the first-choice striker at the club.
He has already netted 19 goals in the Premiership and has been key for the Hoops all season.
Postecoglou moved winger Daizen Maeda into the middle of the attack after Kyogo's injury with Abada utilised out wide.
