Ange Postecoglou insists he's not interested in whatever Michael Beale has had to say about Rangers' chances of catching Celtic this season.

The Australian spoke to the media this afternoon as hew previewed the Hoops' home clash against Aberdeen tomorrow.

Celtic lead their arch Glasgow rivals by nine points as thing stand.

Beale's men face an away trip to Livingston on Saturday afternoon. They know that any slip up could see Celtic go as many as 12 points ahead of them.

During his press conference, Postecoglou was asked a range of questions.

One clearly didn't sit too well with him though, when he he was asked to address Beale's comments on Thursday that the title would "probably" not be heading in the direction of Ibrox this season.

Pressed on whether he fond the comments surprising or interesting, Postecoglou responded: "Neither, mate. I haven't heard the comments but the original point is probably the most accurate, that I don't really pay any interest to it."

Meanwhile, Kyogo Furuhashi has returned to Celtic training after injury in a major boost for Ange Postecoglou ahead of the League Cup final.

The Japanese international was substituted early last week as the Hoops defeated St Mirren in the Scottish Cup.

Kyogo went down with what appeared to be a shoulder injury and he was then labelled a doubt for the cup final against Rangers on February 26.

But now Celtic fans can breathe a sigh of relief after their star striker was pictured back in training today.
